What is Faith Promise?

Faith Promise is a ministry that gives us, the Body of Christ at New Covenant, the opportunity to reach across the street and to the other side of the world. Faith Promise is a covenant between God and us. In this covenant, we Promise to provide New Covenant's Missions Ministry with any blessing that God may give us over the next year. The blessing is a windfall from God; He is the provider. If a blessing doesn't come your way, the covenant is still active - just continue to wait and expect the blessing later.

Remember, Faith Promise is not a pledge; it is a promise. God worked with Abraham on a covenant of "blessed to be a blessing." This is what faith promise is. God blesses us so that we can bless others.

On Sunday, July 26th, you will had an opportunity to make this promise. Members and guests received a Faith Promise card upon which you indicated a dollar amount. We didn't track names, only the amount. This is between God and you.

It's not too late to make a Faith Promise. You can pray  about making this promise, then wait to see what God will do to enable you to bless others here and around the globe. Our total Faith Promise amount expressed on July 26th will constitute most of the Missions budget for the following year.

Last year's Promised amount has yet to be fulfilled and it places many local and global projects in jeopardy!

We covenant with God and He will bless our lives according to His plan for us, individually. Your job after entering into the covenant with God is to have faith that He will provide what He has guided you to promise.

Faith Promise cards will still be available in the church lobby.  If you have any questions regarding your Faith promise, please contact JoAnn Simpson Miller at (405) 348-9160 or Cole Hinds at (405) 330-0351.
