Have you ever wondered what happened to stained glass windows? Rarely will you find these beautiful works of art installed in modern houses of worship. We now live and worship in a different time where the culture responds more to technology than to stained glass.
Here at New Covenant, the use of video screens and projection screens serve to provide visual inspiration as well as delivering information about church events.
During the service, we provide magnified images of the music onstage as well as closeups of Adrian preaching. In large sanctuaries, this image magnification or IMAG, is used to reveal facial expressions of the speaker as well as allowing folks in the back to connect visually with the preacher. Our Technical Team at New Covenant is responsible for IMAG and is a ministry dedicated to assisting in the worship experience. We presently have a need for quite a few more volunteers to operate cameras, help with graphics and work in the control room. No experience is necessary and full training is available. Call Jimmy Doyle at the church office and say, I'm not afraid of technology, this is a fun ministry where I can serve!
